The Hope Center Recovery Learning Center (RLC) is a peer-run organization dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy to those who self-identify with a mental health and/or substance use history. The Hope Center is run in partnership with the larger Metro-Boston Recovery Learning Community, and offers a center with no barrier to access. There is no intake, sign-up, or referral process, and all services are free of charge. Members are not required to be connected to any mental health agency or provider. The Hope Center offers in-person and online/call-in peer support, education, and activity groups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Answer House is a Halfway House for men to help to improve the quality of life and independent functioning of a wide variety of clients through the delivery of an extensive system of community based substance abuse and social service programs. We believe in teaching individuals the skills and problem solving abilities needed for self-sufficiency. We are a (6) six month program, with a variety of groups to help our clients cope with their substance abuse issues. The LightHouse Reentry Center is located on the site of the former Buffalo Halfway House, which operated from 1974 to 2017. Community Resources for Justice received approval from the Federal Bureau of Prisons to re-open the reentry center in 2019. Men referred by the Suffolk and Norfolk county sheriff’s departments, or the Massachusetts Parole Board. Amenities include on site laundry, air conditioning, parking, full kitchens, living/dining rooms and quick access to public transportation.
